• The Ultracode 2023 Standard is being sent to ISO for ISO Standard consideration.
• Developing an infographic on barcode technologies and their market roles.
• Crafting an awareness document on QR code phishing issues, referencing FCC warnings.
• Working on an agreed upon Fixed Pattern Damage test symbols for consistent verifier performance evaluation across different models.

Visibility Technologies Group – Next meeting August 21st, 10:30 AM ET

• Developing a whitepaper on IoT in Robotics, highlighting the benefits of robotics and AI in industrial settings.
• Creating a whitepaper on Supply Chain Visibility, addressing issues found at the last mile and proposing AIDC solutions.

RFID Experts Group – Next meeting August 21st, 1:00 PM ET

• Addressing metal detection issues in the food industry caused by RFID inlays, with plans to develop recommendations for the FDA.  (Guest speaker will be addressing this topic)
• Revising the RFID 101 documents for the RFID.org website.
• Collaborating with RVCF on the RFID FAQ for Retail Part 2, to be featured on the RFID Journal website.
• Preparing a whitepaper on Sensors in a Material Handling Setting for board review.
• Reviewing and updating the REG 396 document based on public comments.
• Approving and updating the Data Content document on the AIM website.
